Signing off for the Year

Well, it has been an okay 8th Grade year. We will be having our "Prom" (Dinner Dance) very soon. Our graduation is exactly a week away. I've been in this district since Kindergarten and transferred into their Middle School later on. Now, I will be entering a new district with new people. Aubry and Roy are going to different schools, which leaves me with a memester, which isn't that bad. (At least you know my objective for High school...) Anyways, our iPads will be taken away soon, so this is why I'm signing off. Matt, you always been active (not including your break) and made me want to exceed my blogging grade. Not only that, I have nothing better to do, so I check your blog almost every day. If only you liked Pokémon more, but that's okay. Pokémon is a meme at school. People say that they are the Keys. (Yes, there is. Pokémon called Klefki that is basically a flying key chain.)

School is getting slow. Very slow. I thought the end of the year would be faster. Nope, I was wrong. If I were to put 8th Grade in 1 word, it would be this... Rollercoaster. You probably caught me being depressed (which I am totally (not) over with) and had many rants, but it will all go to the garbage. I am glad today that I heard this, "Fidget spinners are overrated and getting old." Hallelujah. Anywyas, have a happy high school life, Matt. Just remember that there is someone who constantly rants about things and suffers life dramatically to cheer you up. So yeah, Carry on.

This I Believe - Anthony

People want people to say what they want to hear. Trust me, I know. Scholarships, contest, speeches, anything that includes speaking, there are people to judge. Interviews are nerve racking, but those judges are looking for one thing. If you don't say it, it's on to the next person. One scholarship I applied to had an interview. They are looking for someone who was truthful and amazing, and yet, I didn't get it. Later I realized, my actions are unbelievable. It's too crazy, people don't believe it! I am in many clubs, I am in musicals, I volunteer at a regular basis. It's too much for a kid. Somehow, I have room for Every. Single. One. You don't believe it? It's true! Don't let a job application, a presentation, a speech, an interview, or even a conversation get you down. You know yourself, you are better than what they think. You know why? People want people to say what they want to hear. You just might be too good for them to understand.

Comprehend this, it might help you a lot.

Carry On.

Theater is a gift....if you have that Prop

It's over, isn't it.

Since we are both going to high school next school year, I have some advise for you. From what I know from my older sister, it is a good idea to join one specific club. Join. Theater. Even if you can't act, you get to listen to the cast singing and get to know stories better as a crew member. It's pretty fun to make either the set or decorations. If you join theater, you can meet very creative, talented, dramatic people. Those are one of the best friends to have. My sister was in theater as a crew member and had long relationships with theater friends, even though they are still friends. From my experience, the cast still talks through Snapchat (which I ranted about) so we can stay in touch. Comparing the two experiences resulted in the same outcome. Therefore, I highly recommend joining theater. It's very dramatic.

Rant on Fidget Spinners

Ok, this is absurd. It's getting to the point where they need to stop.

People say they need a distraction.... hahaha, no. I think the Fidget company is happy, but not the one who are suffering. When people bring fidget spinners to school, they are a student magnet. It's like bringing a king sized bag of cheetos. It is also getting to the point where they throw shade to those who don't own them. I am in Boy Scouts, so on camp outs, I do all the work while the others play with spinning metal things. They are starting to design more expensive ones, like they are some sort of Yeezys. Oh, speaking of shoes, replace every fidget spinner word on this blog with shoes. I feel like having the latest trends show how rich you are and how you fit on. They need to put their priorities in order. Hahahahahahaha. Goodbye.

Carry on without fidgeting a stress gear.

Motel and Tzeitel are going to Russia... WHEN THAT HAPPENS!?!!?

The play finished :(. It was fun while it lasted. We have gotten all of the items from that list, so we did an okay job peforming it. Anyways, supposedly if I don't make enough money, I might be involved with the Holocaust. .-. Oh boy. What I hope is that I meet up with the fam back at America before Hitler strikes. Anyways, the only issue I had for this musical (in my district) is that there were only 3 boys that sang deep. That is Tevye (main), Lazar Wolf (A guy who wants to marry Tzeitel), and me. They had to place me in the Papa group since we sang low.

Let stop here....

In the opening song, "Tradition," there are 4 groups: Sons, Daughters, Mamas, and Papas. Since Motel is not married yet, he is a son. Thanks to the district, we have 80% of the villagers being kids, so only the Papa group sounded low.

AND not to mention we had a lack of boys, so some girls pretended to be the sons

Whoopdidoo.

Anyways, what motivates me the most to do the musical again is that one note. That one specific note that makes the whole house in awe (House=Audience). When we finish all of out cut lyrics, we sing simultaneously. For instance, one of our warm up, the papas sang Zigga Mama and than the Mamas hopped in after the Papas sang Zigga Mama. Ehh, I'm horrible to explain things.

When we finish the layers, the papas finish first, so they sing, "THE PAPAAAAAAAAAAAA." For some reason, with the high notes and low voice in the Papa group makes that note sound.... Epic.

(Bringing the ol' stuff back (and yes, I have played Roblox for a significant amount of time...
 A long time ago.))
(PPAP(a))

That's how I will describe it.

Then the mamas sing their part, so does the sons and daughters. That note tho. I want to go back.

Hope I didn't ramble

Carry on.

Fiddling a Violin while Dangling from a Rooftop

We recently finished doing our dress rehearsal for the musical. This is no ordinary dress rehearsal, we have an audience to come and see it. Our district had a raffle to see who would come. Dress rehearsal was all day yesterday and half of today, so I did miss school yesterday. Anyways, we are 80% done. We are missing the following items:

My Sewing Machine  :(

Wedding glass breaking thingy mabober

Book

A chair that is NOT about to break.

Some wedding actions (What Tzietel and I do is stare at each other for 3+ minutes straight, so it's awkward.)

Character Sequence Song

And that should most likely be it.

Never mind, it's 75% done. We have to be very meticulous when running a show like this. Anyways, wish me the best if luck on stage!
