  • A Fine White Dust
Peter lives in North Carolina. He has a strange relation to god. So strange, he attended church more than his parents in their lifetime. Peter even attended church camp and created ceramic crosses each year. Recently, he learned that Jesus is going to judge you and tell you where you are going to go. Peter was afraid of that. On a car ride, he noticed a hitchhiker. For some reason, he remembered the eye color of the hitchhiker. First, this scared him since he looks like a maniac, but later found out he was stalking him. He notice the hitchhiker in the drug store and the hitchhiker waved at him. Peter soon found out that the hitchhiker was the preacher man. Now, Peter is scared that he is doing things wrong and the preacher man is a messenger from Jesus to judge Peter.

A Fine White Dust is a reference to a ceramic cross later in the book which I am not going to spoil.

I liked this book. The explanation was hard since there were many parts to the book. I liked the character Rufus, an atheist who is friends with Peter. It sort of contradicts on what Peter says all the time, which creates humor to me. Plus, the relation with the preacher man is perfect. The preacher man acted so much like Jesus, it's scary. That is why I liked this book. 8/10
  •  Lord of the Flies
A group of 8-14 year old are stranded on a deserted island due to a plane crash. There are no adults around, so they had to make their own leadership. Ralph got everything in order, building signal fires, finding food, and making shelter. Later, Jack wants that leadership too, and That lead to a separation of the group. Now, Ralph must deal with sacrifices and opponents in order to be saved.

This book was an okay book for me. It does have an interesting plot, but the context makes it hard to read. The characters are introduced and conducted well and the message overall was executed. This book is for people with a little bit of patience, who likes realistic fiction, and survival books. Overall, I give this book a 7/10, so it is not that bad. So if you like survival books, I suggest you to read this book.
  • George Washington
Our founding father wasn't all that great. He was a normal human being with a big dream. I would like to read this after learning about the Revolutionary War. When you do, you learn the  backstory of George Washington. This topic of his childhood is not talked about in many subjects, which is why it's interesting. It is a long book, and sort of drags, but it's very interesting.

I would recommend this book to any Hamilton fan or History fan out there. It is a good book to know more about how the actor acts as the song he sang due to his background. I've watched Hamilton (On YouTube, of Course) after reading the book, and you notice some reference Washington makes. So yeah, read it.
  • Powerless
One of the safest places in the world is very suspicious, if you ask me. When one particular family moves to Nobel Green, the curious boy found a huge discovery. When bullied and being pushed down a cliff, a strange human saved him. A flying human saving another, even though it reveals her identity. When Daniel, the curious boy, was exposed, Mollie, the flying superhuman, showed him around and showed him the others. One strange thing about these superheroes is that they loose memory of their power by the second they turn 13. Since Daniel is the "only" one that knows, it's up to him to crack the mystery, even though he's powerless.

I read this book back in 7th Grade, but finished it before 3-9-17. This topic was out of my liking, but I actually liked it. Mystery is my thing, but not superheroes. They made the plot line very well done, which made it a sci-fi mystery book with well done characters. I recommend you reading this.

Oh, And it's part of a trilogy. This is the first book.
